Eunice Ngongkum

Eunice Ngongkum holds a PhD in Postcolonial African Literatures from the University of Yaoundé 1 where she is presently Professor of African Literature and Culture in the Department of African Literature and Civilizations. She is author of many scholarly and creative works among which are Anglophone Cameroon Poetry in the Environmental Matrix (2017), Dennis Brutus’ Poetics of Revolt (2018), Manna of a Lifetime & Other Stories (2007), Wen Men Nte  (Short stories 2012), and Tides of Fancy (Poems 2021).

Her short stories and poems have appeared in the following journals and anthologies The Spirit Machine and other New Short Stories from Cameroon, (Dawson, 2008), The Ngoh Kuoh Review (2011), Cameroon Poetry in English (Labang 2012), Free Verse: A Journal of Contemporary Poetry and Poetics (2012), The World to Come (West & Dwivedi 2014) and Bearing Witness: Poems from a Land in Turmoil (edited by Ashuntantang & Tande 2020).
