Emmanuel Yenshu Vubo is a Professor at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the University of Buea, where he has held the positions of Head of Department and Dean of the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences. The author belongs to several learned societies and professional associations, notably the Sociological Society of Cameroon (founding President).
He was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) between 2011 and 2015 and is a fellow of the College of Social Sciences of the Cameroon Academy of Sciences.
