Prof. H. Sama Nwana, is a proud son of Bali Nyonga, Cameroon, and a lifelong champion of his community’s cultural heritage. His work is driven by a deep commitment to preserving, evolving, and celebrating most of the traditions and customs that define Bali Nyonga identity.
A prolific scholar, Prof. Nwana has authored or edited eight books and over 130 peer-reviewed papers and publications, earning recognition as a widely cited and influential figure in telecommunications.
Outside academia, he applies his expertise to ICT issues as Managing Partner at Cenerva Ltd, a London-based consultancy. He also serves as a Visiting Full Professor at the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom.
Rooted in both scholarship and tradition, Prof. Nwana is co-head of the Tanunjam lineage in Bali, where he continues to play an active role in community leadership and cultural stewardship.
