Babatunde Adebayo Adeparusi (aka ’Tunde Adeparusi) is a man of many parts whose creative and innovative talents have been expressed across the domains of language, art and social sciences. ’Tunde graduated as one of the top students from the faculty of Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, with a Bachelor of Arts from the Department of Foreign Languages (1999/2000 session). He has authored numerous articles and has published them locally and internationally. His publications include Understanding and Preventing Youth Crime: An Investigation into Gun and Knife Violence (2017). He has also pioneered and executed many public and private projects in art, security, space design and management, landscaping and many more.

As a Security Consultant with a master’s degree in international criminology from the University of Greenwich, London, ’Tunde is highly active in the security industry. He is a certified member of the Security Institute (SI), United Kingdom and the British Society of Criminology (BSC). In 2019, he proposed a security-solution idea to the Federal Government of Nigeria to combat the incessant cases of stowaways and other security breaches in Nigerian airports. This idea became the prototype security architecture culminating in the recently built surveillance system, in Nigeria’s busiest gateway, the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

’Tunde is a Global Ticketing Advisor for an international organisation headquartered in the United Kingdom. He is a member of #FixPolitics, a citizen-led movement whose goal is to structurally change and innovate politics in Nigeria, Africa, and the rest of the world. As an independent researcher, ’Tunde’s current doctoral research is banditry in Nigeria. His other interests include youth crime, policing and terrorism. ’Tunde Adeparusi is blessed with three lovely children.
