Farai Kapfudzaruwa coordinates the Education for Sustainable Development in Africa (ESDA) initiative within UNU-IAS. The ESDA initiative comprises of three Master’s programmes in sustainable development and the Next Generation Research (NGR) project being implemented in collaboration with eight leading African universities.

Emmanuel Mutisya is a Senior Education Economist Consultant and a Sustainability Specialist at the African Development Bank’s Human Capital, Youth and Skills Development Department. He is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Nairobi’s Wangari Maathai Institute of Peace and Environmental Studies.

Ekpe Inyang is a Chevening scholar and an award-winning writer with several scientific articles and textbooks to his credit in areas such as environmental science, environmental education, research methodology, socio-cultural forestry, and drama. He has distinguished himself as an accomplished playwright and poet, with eight published plays: Professor Adoniah, Beware, The Sacred Forest, Water na Life, The Game, The Swamps, The Hill Barbers, and The Last Hope. His published poetry collections include Silent Voices, Death of Hardship, Eni and Other Poems, Dangerous Pastime, Just a Bend, and most recently, Tastes of Nature.

Dibussi Tande is a political scientist, writer and poet who lives in Chicago. His articles have appeared in a variety of print and online publications such as the Rhodes Journalism Review, Focus on Africa Magazine, African Writing Online and African Muckraking, 75 Years of Investigative Journalism from Africa. He is the author of No Turning Back: Poems of Freedom 1990-1993 (2007) and co-editor of Their Champagne Party Will End! Poems in Honor of Bate Besong (2008).

Christine Titih is the founder and President of Oaks of Central PA, a 501 c3 not-for-profit whose mission is to empower, promote and advocate for the African immigrant and refugee community in the Greater Harrisburg area. She is also the CEO of CT Home Care Services, which provides home and community-based services to adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Dr Chinyere Ukpokolo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria where she teaches social and cultural Anthropology.

Beatrice Fri Bime is the CEO/Founder of AKAABI GROUP Ltd, a global strategy consulting firm that delivers world class, customised solutions to business corporations, governments, international organisations and non-profit organisations.

Ba’bila Mutia is a Cameroonian author, poet, and playwright. He holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Windsor, Canada. His short stories and poetry have been featured in anthologies and reviews worldwide.

Babila Fochang was born in Bali, Cameroon. He has served the Presbyterian Church as pastor in various capacities and currently serves as Synod Clerk since January 2015. He holds a Master of Theology in African Christianity from the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN) and currently completing his doctoral dissertation at the same institution. Fochang has published extensively on Christian and moral issues from an African perspective.

Augustine Ndangam (Ba Nkom Gwannua) studied English Language and Literature at the Federal University of Cameroon and at the School of English of the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. Between 1979 and 1995, he worked as a high school administrator eventually serving as principal in Wum, Kumbo and Bamenda respectively.

Aretas Ndimofor is an educator and a social entrepreneur from the North West Region of Cameroon.

Anthony Ndi is a retired Associate Professor of History.
